How does Global NCAP work?

Global NCAP report is globally accepted. Whenever a car manufacturer company launches their car, that company sends their car to NCAP for testing. This test usually takes 2 to 3 days. There are 2 types of NCAP test, one is AOP (Adult Occupant Protection) and the other is COP (Child Occupant Protection). COP is the rating about how safe the car is if a small baby is in the car. In NCAP test, the head on collusion test of the vehicle is performed at which time the speed of the vehicle is 64 km/hr. NCAP gives rating to the cars by doing many such tests.
